Statism, Moral Wickedness, and Moral Excellence

Statism is not the cause, but the most advanced institutional expression of the wickedness of man. Thus, the only way to dissipate its power is for all people of good will to keep advancing on the road to intellectual and moral excellence. There are no technological, psychological, or (needless to say) political shortcuts to its destination, and the realization that there is no such thing as the right to rule is still only one of the early, albeit essential, steps on this journey.
