20th-century ideologies were defined by their destructive seriousness: their aim was to destroy values by promoting anti-values. By contrast, 21st-century ideologies are defined by their destructive infantilism: their aim is to destroy values by promoting pseudo- and non-values. Thus, to neutralize the latter is not only to oppose the inversion of good and evil, but also, perhaps more importantly, to expose the trivialization of good and evil.
