Dr. No Deserves Intellectual Support
Even though I'm thoroughly anti-political, I cannot help seeing Ron Paul as a ray of common sense and elementary ethical principles in the environment of utter corruption. As I suggested in one of my articles from September, we live in an upside-down world, where vulgar insanity passes for received wisdom and the most unscrupulous power-mongers pass for well-intentioned experts. Ron Paul has managed to gain sufficient popularity to threaten the foundations of this system - which is reflected in the geometrically increasing number of hysterical smears aimed against him, coming from BOTH the so-called Left and the so-called Right - and, as I see it, for that reason alone he deserves at least intellectual and spiritual support of every liberty-minded person out there.
